| About the Artist
Linda Boss, a local artist, graduated from Charlevoix High School and then The Art Institute in Florida in 1987 with a degree in Visual Communications and Advertising Design. She specialized in graphic and advertising design with advanced studies in painting, illustration, photography, electronic desktop publishing and business management. Acclamations include being nominated for “Best Portfolio”, receiving the “Outstanding Achievement Award”, and placing in the top 3 of her class.
Graphic and Electronic Advertising Design
Linda is a print designer with nineteen years of “real life” electronic experience. She has worked out of her studio at North Point, in Charlevoix, specializing in logos, display advertising, business cards, brochures and illustrations; Display ads and electronic book production for ten different PhoneGuide telephone directories around the state and two out of state. She works with all the area printers, sign makers, and print publications so the files will print accurately. View graphic examples online.
She is also the designer for the “official” Charlevoix city flag and illustrated Kappa Sigma’s annual Home Tour for fifteen years.
